Week 13/52 // Semana 13/52

We went to Saint Simons, Georgia to my cousin Dany's wedding. It was really fun. We saw our dear Fajardo family and the boys played with and met their new cousins.

Sebastian spent the whole ceremony and most of the party sleeping. He woke up during the dancing part of the party and joined the adults in the dancing. Something that was made clear is that my boy does not only looks like a Fajardo, but he also dances like one a Fajardo, meaning that the poor guy has two left feet. :)

Fuimos a la Isla San Simon en Georgia al matrimonio de mi primo Dany. La pasamos super bien. Vimos a nuestros queridos Fajardo y los chicos jugaron y conocieron a sus nuevos primos.

Sebastian se paso toda la ceremonia y gran parte de la fiesta durmiendo. Se desperto durante la hora loca y estuvo bailando con todos los grandes. Algo que queda claro, es que mi pobre chiki, no solo se parece a los Fajardo, sino que baila como uno de ellos, es decir, tiene dos pies izquierdos :).
Auggie andaba explorando el lugar con su look de oficinista encorbatado.

Week 12/52 Semana 12/52

The boys were invited to a birthday party (the two boys plus another friend were the whole party gang). They enjoyed a very green cupcake treat and were excited to play with new toys (we promised the parents of their friends that we will return the invitation, so that their kids can have the same treat at our house :)). There is something about other's kids toys that get the boys very excited, I guess is the novelty.

On Sunday we went to have lunch with the play group families. One of the Haitian families is moving to Geneva, so it was the last time that Sebastian played with his friend Agla. The kids played very well they invented a Dinosaur's house, played with rocks as the dinosaurs' food and collected little sticks that were used as pens to write imaginary stories. Sebastian gave her and her mom a big goodbye hug. It was very touching. This time, Sebastian returned his friend Kiran's toy without a peep. We were very relieved. :)


Los chicos fueron invitados a una fiesta de cumpleanos (Los dos enanos mas otro amiguito conformaron la gran fiesta :)). Alli disfrutaron de un kekito super verde y andaban todos emocionados de jugar con juguetes distintos a los suyos (les prometimos a los papas de los ninos que los invitariamos a la casa para que sus hijos tambien tengan esa experiencia). Hay algo en los juguetes de otros ninos que emociona a mis chikis, creo que la novedad de juguetes distintos a los suyos.

El domingo fuimos a almorzar con las familias del grupo de juego de los chikis. Una de las familias Haitianas se muda a Ginebra. Asi que seria la ultima vez que Sebastian iba a jugar con su amiga Agla. Los chicos jugaron super bien, se inventaron una casa de dinosaurios y recogian piedras que eran la comida de los dinosaurios, juntaron palitos y con ellos escribian en una mesa historias que se iban inventando :). Sebas le dio a Agla y a su mama unos abrazos de despedida super carinosos. Me dio mucha ternura mi enano. Esta vez, el enano devolvio el juguete de su amiguito sin ningun problema, fue un alivio :) (yo me andaba temiendo otra historia de llantos)

Week 11/52 Semana 11/52

Cristella the daughter of the lady who works in our house come to play with the kids. She fell in love with Auggie. He was very happy with her. I think he has a new friend :)

Sebas and his friend Kieran were playing with Kieran's dinosaurs the whole day. We went to the mountains and the kids also were looking at tadpoles and coloring and singing. At the end of the day, Sebastian did not want to return Kieran's dinosaurs. He was crying and crying for a long time :( I think he does not yet differentiates the fact that if he likes something does not mean is his automatically :(

Cristella, la hija de la senora que trabaja en nuestra casa vino a jugar con los enanos. Auggie y ella hicieron muy buenas migas. Creo que el enano tiene ahora otra amiga :)

Sebas y su amigo Kieran jugaron con los dinosaurios de Kieran todo el dia. Fuimos a las montanas y los chicos estuvieron mirando renacuajos y pintando y cantando. Al final del dia, Sebastian no queria devolver los dinosaurios a Kieran. Estuvo llora que te llora por largo rato :( Creo que mi chiki todavia no entiende la diferencia entre poser algo y querer algo que te gusta :(
