This week, Sebastian played with the blocks his Tia Ceci gave him in Peru. He is also very fond of his little gorilla "Ping" in honor to Jason's first stuff animal "Pong" :). For some reason, -just like his dad-, he loves monkeys, gorillas and all sort of primates. It might also be the influence of Curious George.

Auggie, grows by the day. My mom tried to tame his "Woody Wood Pecker" natural hair. It worked out for the picture, but a few minutes later, he was back to his PUNK style.

Esta semana, Sebastian comenzo a jugar con los bloques que le regalo su tia Ceci cuando fue a Peru. Sebas esta tambien muy pegado a su gorilita "ping", cuyo nombre fue puesto en honor al primer Gorila de Jason "Pong" :). Por alguna razon, -igual que su papa-, al enano le encantan los monos, los gorilas y toda clase de primates. Tambien puede ser la influencia de Jorge el Curioso. :)

Auggie, crece muy rapido, cambia dia a dia. Para la foto, mi mama trato de achatar sus pelambres estilo pajaro loco pero solo funciono un rato. Despues, el chiqui volvio a su peinado Punk natural.

El Auggie se fue de paseo al sur de Chad durante la semana. Alli visito conmigo y mi mama los proyectos de mi trabajo. Demas esta decir que un pequeno blancucho como el causo sensacion por esas tierras, donde no se ven bebes no Chadianos muy seguido. El enano fue cargado por tutti li mundi. Abajo esta con senoras de un grupo de microfinanza, responsables de un proyecto de Sida, colegas del trabajo, ninas de un Centro de Ninos y por supuesto mi mama. Tambien anduvo el Auggie en intensas y profundas conversaciones con 3 obispos, que cayeron tambien bajo su carismatica sonrisa y agues. Al final de la semana se fue a parrandear con su amigo Diego que andaba de cumple-mes.

During the week, Auggie went on a trip to the south of Chad. There, he visited my office's projects. The little white guy caused sensation on a land that rarely sees non Chadian babies around. Auggie was hold by many people. Below you can see him with women from a micro finance group, the person in charge of a HIV AIDS project, colleagues from the office, girls from a Children Center and of course my mom. Auggie was also in profound and intense talks with 3 bishops, who fell under his charismatic smile and goo goo sounds. During the weekend he went to party with his friend Diego, who celebrated his birth month day :)

I did not spend much time with Sebastian this week. So I had to take advantage of the weekend to get a pic of him. He has this game were he pretends he is "Leyla" (In Sebas' language: Nina) our friend Matt's dog. And when he is Leyla, he gives you wet kisses, like the one he is giving my mom in the picture :)

No pude pasar mucho tiempo con Sebastian esta semana. Asi que tuve que aprovechar el fin de semana para tomarle unas fotos. El enano tiene un juego donde pretende que es "Leyla" (en lenguaje de Sebastian: Nina) la perra de nuestro amigo Matt. Cuando se convierte en Leyla, te empiza a dar besos (lenguazos), como el que le esta dando a mi mama en la foto.

Y para el final, una de mis 3 chicos. Me encanta la sonrisa del Auggie, y la cara de amor de Sebastian hacia su hermano. Aunque Jason dice que no es mirada de amor, si no de "ahora cual es mi siguiente travesura contra este pequenajo"

Esta semana nos vamos al sur con mi mama Auggie. Nos vamos a visitar unos proyectos de la oficina. Asi que estoy subiendo las fotos de la semana hoy dia.

Auggie hizo amigos y Sebastian se dedico a jugar y explorar. Para variar, Sebastian no dejo de apapachar al hermano.

This week we are going to the South of the country with my mom and Auggie, I will be visiting some of my office's projects.

This week, Auggie made friends and Sebastian kept playing and exploring. Sebastian as usual did not stop hugging his brother.

Sebastian nos sorprendio esta manana. Mientras jugaba ordeno una juego de memoria por animal y luego puso sus animalitos de plastico en el animal que correspondia (A los sapos los puso con el pinguino porque no tenian pareja!). Mi chiqui es tan capo!!!

Sebastian surprised us this morning. While he was playing he ordered a memory game by animals and then placed his plastic animals by the corresponding animal in the memory game. (He matched the frogs with the penguin because they did not have a pair to match with) My son is sooo smart!!!

Auggie cumple 3 meses / Auggie turns 3 months

Auggie cumplio ayer 3 meses. En plena tomada de fotos Sebastian no aguanto mas y entro a besar y torturar al hermano. Se emociona y lo empieza a apachurrar fuerte. Pobre Auggie, todavia no puede defenderse. Me hace acordar a Elmira, la ninita de los tiny toons que queria tanto a los animalitos que los terminaba asfixiando o reventando.....

Lo que Auggie piensa: Foto 1: Oh no!! Este loco besuqueiro otra vez!!. Foto 2: Ya arruinando MI momento..otra vez!! Foto 3: Alguien se puede llevar a este chico por favor!!!!

Auggie turned 3 months yesterday. In the middle of the photo shooting Sebastian could not wait anymore and started kissing and torturing his bro. He gets so excited and squeezes Auggie very hard. The poor guy cannot yet defend himself. Sebastian reminds me of Elmira, the little girl of the "tiny toons" cartoon that loved little animals so much that she ended up asphyxiating and smashing them ....

Aqui vamos con la semana 3. Auggie salio a pasear al patio y Sebastian jugaba con el senor papa. Y como buen nieto de su abuelo, sacando la lengua como signo de concentracion. Alli unas yapas con la cara de bobos de los padres :).

Here we go with week 3. Auggie went for a walk outside the house and Sebastian played with his Mr. Potato. Every time he is focus or very concentrated, he sticks his tongue out just like his grandpa. Also, 2 bonus pics with the parents and their silly faces :).

Me he dado cuenta de que en realidad no puedo hacer un solo 52 semanas, sino que tengo que hacer dos, uno para cada enano. Asi que desde ahora la primera foto de cada enano, es la foto de la semana para cada uno. Mientras tomaba la primera foto, Sebastian trajo su Senor papa para jugar con Auggie. Como pueden ver, mi hijo no solo es artista a la hora armarle la cara a la papa, sino que ha pintado con crayola todo el muneco. Por ahora las paredes se han salvado, pero en su impulso artistico, el suelo, el ventilador y el sillon ya fueron sus victimas.

I realized that I cannot do only one 52 week project, but I have to do two. One for each boy. So from now on, the first picture of each boy will be the weekly picture. While I was taking Auggie's first picture (below), Sebastian brought his Mr. Potato Head to play with Auggie. As you can see, my son its not only an artist to put the pieces in Mr. Potato Head, but he has also decorated his whole face with red crayons. for the time being he has spared the walls, but his artistic impulse has already attacked the floor, the fan and the couch.
