The boys were invited to the birthday party of Agla, a friend of Sebastian's play group. The party was in a very nice organic farm in the mountains, -15 kilometers from Puerto Principe. The farm opened in the 50s when a professor at MIT / Harvard came to Haiti and decided to buy 30 acres of land to demonstrate peasants different techniques of land use that are sustainable and ecological. Now it's his daughter who continues this legacy. I was all excited because the farm had Granadillas! and Loquats!, Finger babanas, the type my grandma liked, it also had strawberries and herbs. Animals: Rabbits, a goat with her babies, roosters, cats, dogs and horses. The party was at the demonstration center, not at the farm itself, but an hour before. The kids, especially Sebastian, were super excited, running up and down all over the place. The children made bread with a Turkish lady who taught them how to make Turkish bread, painted masks in bamboos and made paper briquettes that can be used for cooking instead of using wood.
Auggie was kissing and hugging girls. He is always torn between Anais and Zahra. Anais is one day older than him and Zahra one year older. Anis does not want anything to do with him, she always gives him the look of, Auggie, you must be kidding me!! Leave me alone!!, and this time was not diferent :)
