En agosto nos fuimos a Peru!!!!, Vimos a la familia y amigos, comimos mucho, paseamos y jugamos con todos los primos y primas. Los chicos fueron al nido por una semana, y les gusto mucho. Fuimos al campo 3 veces y viajamos a Paracas con la Tia Gallina y su familia pollito. Fuimos al bautizo de los pollitos..fuimos felices :)
In August we went to Peru!!! We saw family and friends, ate a lot of food, went to many places and played with cousins. The boys went to a kindergarten and had a great time. We went to the country side 3 times, went to Paracas with my friend Gina and her little chicks, we also went to the "chicks" baptism..we had a great time!! :)

Sebastian was in love with the slide (making me nervous), he will climb all by himself and go back again and again. I do not know how many times he went on it. He had so much fun with his uncles and cousins and Papa Willy in the pool.

Finally back at home, we were locked out. Waiting for help :)
Finalmente en casa. Nos quedamos fuera. Esperando a que alguien traiga la llave :)
Sebas had a big farm project. He made a sketch of his dream farm and we were set to make it happen. It took us several days. We painted a box and some ice cream sticks to be fences, found some food for the animals in te garden and our kitchen, made some trees from toilet paper rolls. Following the steps of Tia Liz, Sebas insisted in making a chicken coop and of course the poor farmer cannot sleep with the animals, she has to have her own house. With a TV a sofa, a bed and a guest bed. Sally the famer was very happy :)
We went to celebrate the birthday on one of the kids' best friend. Auggie was really mad when other people blew the candles. We had to re-light the candles for him to try one more time to be the one blowing candles. In the end, even though it was just him and the birthday boy, he did not feel he accomplished his task and was very mad :)
In July, we re-encountered Jorge, a mexican friend who was with us in Chad and now is based in Haiti :)

Sebas desarrollo un proyecto de una granja. Hizo un dibujo con los planos de su granja, y estuvimos trabajando varios dias para terminarla. Pintamos una caja y algunos palitos de helado para que sirvieran de cercas, buscamos comida para los animales en el jardin y nuestra cocina, hicimos arboles de manzana de rollos de papel higienico. Siguiendo los pasos de su tia Liz, Sebas construyo un gallinero. Y por supuesto la pobre granjera no podia dormir con los animales, asi que Sebas hizo una casa con television, sofa y cama para invitados (su prima la estaba visitando :)). Sally la granjera estuvo muy feliz con su nueva casa :).
Fuimos a celebrar el cumpleanos de uno de los mejores amigos de los chicos. Auggie estuvo muy molesto porque no le dejaron soplar las velas de la torta. Tuvimos que prender las velas una segunda vez para que el, y el cumpleanero soplaran las velas. El enano tampoco estuvo muy contento con el segundo round :(
En Julio nos re-encontramos con Jorge, un amigo mexicano que conocimos en Chad. Ahora el tambien anda por estas tierras :)

I am very behind with the monthly pics. But here we go. June was super busy to me and I could not take many pictures, I was in the field with visitors and got sick with Chikungunya, a mosquito virus :(. This was the end of the school year, and the school took the annual pictures for the kids. Auggie looks like another boy, so round and shy :).
Estoy recontra atrasada en poner las fotos del mes. Aqui voy de nuevo. Junio fue un mes super ocupado para mi, estuve en el campo con visitas de la oficina y me enferme con Chikungunya, un virus que viene de nuestros queridos zancudos. El colegio tomo las fotos anuales de los ninos. Auggie parece otro nino, todo rechonchito y con cara de timido :).

Month of mountains, Beach, swimming and "Tiger" the cat.
We got a wooden barn as a surprise for the kids. When we came back from Minnesota I was very quick to hide the barn in my closet. But these kids are faster than me, and they found the "red thing" very quickly and were asking for it everyday. I made them wait until the weekend to give it to them. It was such a treat to see the boys playing with it. Sebastian plays so well with the barn, making fences for the animals and bringing inside all his farm animals. He told us he was missing a rooster. When I gave him one, he was sooo happy. Now he is drawing grass to put underneath the barn :)
The kids were delighted to have a cat in our house. We were babysitting the cat of a friend from my office. The kids were very nice with the cat, especially Sebastian who kept saying to the cat: It is ok sweety, you are a good girl!!! He wanted to hold the kitten all the time. Auggie, because he is small and kid of a Tarzan, got nervous and was chasing and tormenting the cat, but in a loving way :). The poor cat ended up hiding inside our oven, somehow he found a way to get into it.

Mes de montanas, playa, natacion y "Tiger" la gata.
Como sorpresa le compramos a los chicos un establo de madera. Apensa llegamos de nuestro viaje de Minnesota, escondi el establo en mi closet. Pero esos enanos son mas rapidos que yo y encontraron la "cosa roja" al toque y se pasaban los dias preguntandome cuando la podian abrir. Los hice esperar hasta el fin de semana y fue un placer ver a los enanos jugar con el establo. Sebastian le hace cercas a los animales y los pone dentro del establo. Nos dijo que le faltaba un gallo en su establo. Cuando le di un gallo, el enano estaba super feliz. Ahora esta dibujando pasto para ponerlo en el suelo del establo :)
Los chicos estaban contentisimos de tener un gato en nuestra casa. Estuvimos cuidando la gatita de un amigo por dos semanas. Los chicos fueron muy dulces con la gata. Especialmente Sebastian que la acariciaba y decia: Esta bien querida, tu eres una chica buena!! Mi chiki queria cargarla todo el tiempo. Auggie, porque es mas chiquito y porque es medio tarzan, se ponia nervioso y terminaba persiguiendo y atormentando a la gata (pero con amor!!) que terminaba escondiendose dentro de un hueco que encontro para meterse al horno :)
