We arrived in California. First stop Santa Monica, to visit my cousin Cristy and her family (primate Armando and beautiful Anika). We had so much fun, we went to soo many places (museums, parks, more museums, the beach...). The boys played so well with Anika, it was really fun to see them. She did not bulge and play with my little brutes without hesitation (it must be the maternal side, or the mexican wrestling :)) The best of the trip (at least for Sebastian) was the neighbor, my cousin's neighbor is Santa, the real one (I will show you a picture of him). Sebas really thought he was Santa wearing civil clothes :). He did not call him but his real name (Bob), but always called him Santa and asked him why he was not wearing his robe :). I ate so much, but not enough Tamales, I missed the tamales Armando brought home for X-mas, they were delicious and I am still dreaming with Tamales :). We also saw my cousin Mandalit and her daughter Amaya. Gosh, those 4 little ones together were such a funny bunch. I want to see them playing again, they had so much fun. :)
Armando introduced "Star Wars" to my children. Auggie was super scared when Anika wore the Dark Vader mask and made the sounds of his voice. The Poor Auggie ended up crying. Sebas called Dark Vader, Dark Mader, and he is not yet ready to start watching the movies. On the other hand, Anika, she saw the whole movie without moving from her chair and very happy.
Thank you Cristy and Armando, we had a great time, and we really hope that you can come to visit us at some point!!!
Llegamos a California, primera parada Santa Monica, donde mi prima Cristy y su familia (Primate Armando y Anika linda). La pasamos super bien. Fuimos a tantisimos sitios (museos, parques, mas museos, playa..) Los chicos jugaron muy bien con Anika, era muy lindo verlos. La enana no se achicopalo con los brutos de mis enanos, y le entraba al juego duro sin problema (debe ser la herencia materna, o las luchas mexicanas :)). Lo mejor del viaje (al menos para Sebastian) fue el vecino de mi prima. El vecino de mi prima es Papa Noel, el de de veras (Les voy a mostrar una foto de el). Sebastian realmente creia que el vecino era Papa Noel en ropa de civil :). No lo llamaba por su nombre real (Bob), sino por su nombre REAL: Papa Noel. Y le preguntaba donde estaba su ropa y su gorro :). Comi tanto en esta parte del viaje. Sobre todo los tamales que trajo el primo Armando, hasta ahora sigo sonando con ellos, realmente estuvieron buenisimos, y a pesar de que comi mucho, no me comi los suificientes. Tambien vimos a mi prima Mandalit y su hijita Amaya. Jesucristo!! Esos 4 enanos juntos eran una bala, ya quiero verlos jugar de nuevo :)
Armando introdujo "La Guerra de las Galaxias" a mis hijos. Auggie estaba asustadisimo cuando Anika se ponia la mascara de Dark Vader y hacia los sonidos que el hace. El pobre termino llorando. Sebas llama a Dark Vader, Dark mader, y todavia no le entra al asunto. Pero Anika, ella se vio toda la pelicula de un tiron y de lo mas contenta :)
Gracias por todo Cristy y Armando, la pasamos super bien, y esperamos que puedan venir a visitarnos.
