Week 51/52 // Semana 51/52

We had our big Dinosaurrrr party. The boys and all the kids in general had a great time. Auggie was a wanderer as usual, just walking by himself observing stuff and having fun on his own. He was eating food from everybody's plate and even managed to steal some food from other kids. We call him "the basurero" (the trash can). People were having fun just observing what a trash can he can be :) (and being envious of how well my little one eats :P). Sebas had a blast. He saw the pinata in the morning up in the tree and was very excited, he kept repeating MIO MIO!! (mine, mine). He was roaring and playing and just being absolutely happy (except for one moment with his friend Valeshka. He was sad, we do not know why, but it was very funny, you will see the pics). The funny thing at the end was the pinata, the kids did not know that they had to take the treats from the floor and did not know what to do. At the beginning   Sebas did not want to hit the pinata with the bat, but after he got the hang out of it, it was hard to take away the bat from him.

A friend of mine brought devil eggs with little faces (dinosaurs babies). Sebastian refused to eat them, because they were babies (he used such a sweet voice that it was saddd), and the next day when Jason was eating the left over babies, he was scolding him for eating the baby dinos. Later though, he accepted some :).

Y tuvimos nuestra fiesta Dinosaurio. Los enanos y sus amiguitos se la pasaron muy bien. Auggie como siempre, estuvo andando por todos lados como si con el no fuera la cosa, explorando y choreandose la comida de medio mundo. Hasta se comio la comida de otros ninos el muy zamarro. Lo llamamos " El Basurero". Los papas de los ninos invitados pasaron un buen rato mirando como nuestro chiki hacia honor a su nobre (y por dentro llenandose de envidia de que nuestro chiki se lo coma todo :P). Sebas se la paso bomba. vio su pinata en la mana despues de colocarla en el arbol y se emociono. Gritaba Mio, Mio!! El enano anduvo rugiendo y jugando y estuvo completamente feliz (excepto por un momento donde estaba haciendo pucheros con su amiga Valeshka, ya veran las fotos son muy graciosas). La nota graciosa paso con la pinata. Despues de caer todos los regalitos, los ninos no sabian que hacer, nunca habian visto una pinata antes :). Al principio Sebastian no queria pegarle a la pinata, pero despues, le agarro el gusto y no habia como quitarle el bate.

Una amiga trajo unos huevos endiablados con caritas (bebe dinosaurios). Sebastian se nego a comer los huevos porque decian que eran bebes dinosaurios (con una voz de dulzura, que daba una pena!!). Al dia siguiente el enano descubrio a Jason comiendose lo que quedaban delos huevos y estuvo resondrandolo porcomerse a los bebes. Al final, igual el vendido acepto comer un poco :).

Week 50/52 // Semana 50/52

We had a quiet New Yeaar's Eve. All of us were sleeping by midnight :)
On the first, we went to a beach called Moulin sur Mer, a beach that seats next to an old fort. It was very nice. The kids had a lot of fun, this time they did not spend a lot of time in the water, but playing with sand. Auggie spent a LOT OF time just playing with little stones, it was very nice.

This week we started all the preparations for Mr. Sebastian's Dinosaur party.

Tuvimos un ano nuevo muy tranquilo. Todos nos quedamos dormidos antes de que dieran las 12 :). El primero, nos fuimos a Moulin sur Mer, una playa que esta al costado de un fuerte antiguo. El dia estuvo muy simpatico. Los chicos se divirtieron como locos. Esta vez no pasaron mucho tiempo en el agua, si no mas bien jugando en la arena. Auggie se paso un rato largo divirtiendose jugando con piedritas. Le encnatan las piedritas :0).

Esta semana empezamos las preparaciones para la gran fiesta dinosauria por los 3 anos del senor Sebastian.

Week 49/52 //Semana 49/52

We had a nice and quiet Christmas. I think this might be the last one with the kids not expecting anything. When they discovered the presents under the tree, they were happy but did not have any questions nor was any talk about who put the presents there.
Auggie kept exploring the tree until it fell :(. Only one decoration broke, and we hope he will not do it again :)

We had a small celebration for Sebastian's birthday. He was excited about singing happy birthday and having a birthday cake. I decorated the cake with some soccer decorations I had from Jason's birthday two years ago. We will have a small party after X-mas break.

Starting a new birthday tradition, we asked Sebas a number of questions about the things he likes, does not like, his preferences at 3. The  answers were funny. He did not understand some of the questions, but it is a testimony of who he is at this age. We will see what he says in future years. The hand writing its not super clear, mixes languages and has grammar mistakes. Sebastian wanted to take charge of the interview and take away my pen, so it was kind of a battle to get the answers out of him and then record them.

Tuvimos una bonita y tranquila navidad. Creo que sera la ultima donde los chicos no esperen nada. Cuando descubrieon sus regalos bajo el arbol, estuvieron contentos, pero no tenian ninguna pregunta o expectativa de donde venian los regalos.
Auggie siguio explorando hasta donde daba el arbol y el pobre arbol termino tirado en el suelo. Felizmente solo se rompio un adornito :)

Tuvimos una celebracion chiquita para el cumple de Sebastian. El enano andaba emocionado de poder comer una torta de cumpleanos y de cantar Happy Birthday. Decore la torta con unas decoraciones de futbol de un cumpleanos de Jason hace ya dos anos. Tendremos una fiestita despues de las vacaciones de Navidad.

Empezando una nueva tradicion cumpleanera, hicimos al enano una serie de preguntas sobre las cosas que le gustan y no le gustan, sus preferencias de sus 3 anos. Las respuestas fueron graciosas. El chiki no entendio varias preguntas, pero es su testimonio de quien es a los 3 anos. Veremos que nos contesta en los anos que vienen. La letra es mala, mezcla idiomas y tiene horrores gramaticales. El enano se moria por quitarme el lapicero y escribir el en el papel. Asi no fue una entrevista normal, sino mas bien una lucha para terminar las preguntas :)

Sebas at 3. I recorded his answers in the language he used. The answers that made me smile: What makes you happy: Cheesee!!! (saying cheese does not make him happy, but shows a smile, so that is happy. :). What are you good at: Big high fives :). Who is your best friend: Tian (Sebastian. Mom: No Kiran, or Isaac? No, Tian). What do you want to be when you grow up: A kindle :)

Sebas a los 3. Escribi las respuestas en el idioma que el utilizo. Algunas de sus respuestas que me hicieron reir; Que te hace feliz: Cheeseee (Decir cheese para las fotos no lo hace feliz, pero lo muestra feliz, por lo tanto eso es ser feliz :)). En que eres bueno?: En chocatelas :). Quien es tu mejor amigo:: Tian (Sebastian. Mama: No Kieran, no Isaac? No, Tian). Que quieres ser cuando seas grande: Un kindle :)
